Trigger smirked at her as she asked him if he remembered what they were fighting about. "We're fighting about the fact you slapped me." He informed her. He knew what she meant but he wanted to enrage her, he wasn't sure why he wanted to piss her off so much but he couldn't help it. He was sort of speaking the truth, the argument had changed since she slapped him, it wasn't about sex any more.
His smirk must have been extremely annoying because the next thing Evie said shocked Trigg to the core. It took him a few seconds to register the fact that she was using his first name, it was so foreign to him. So strange. It was like she'd spoken to him in a different language. He blinked heavily at her in surprise and then remembered her questions. "Well, Evelyn," he shouted, retaliatting using her first name and not his nickname for her, "I think you should stay here. And what do you mean is there any point? Do you want to break up or something?" Trigg regretted the last question as soong as it came out of his mouth. But he knew it was too late to take it back.

Evelyn muttered a few choice swear words under her breath. She knew Trigger was trying to piss her off. And he was succeeding. That's what pissed her off most. I thought it was because you couldn't tap that.
That would have been humorous in a different context. But not right now.
She paused when he called her Evelyn instead of her cute pet name. Do you want me to stay here and fight with you? See how pissed off I get? See if I cry? Evelyn asked, her voice surprisingly low but gradually getting higher and louder. I think we should end this.
And with that she left the dorm.

Trigger stared at her as she brought up the sex again. He narrowed his eyes at her and took a few steps forward. "The argument changed when you hit me." he snarled at her. He listened to her steady voice as she rhymed off the rhetorical questions he knew he wasn't supposed to answer. He was about to make some smart ass replies when she said the words that were like six daggers in his heart. 'I think we should end this'.
Trigger gaped as she left the room, the initial shock passed after a few minutes and Trigg was quickly running down the corridor after her. The corridor was narrow and dull, the walls were grey and you could see water stains on the ceiling. "You think you can just leave it like that?" he shouted at her as soon as he caught a glimpse of her hair. "You can't just turn around and say that and walk away. We have to talk about this. IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL I SAY IT IS."

Evelyn turned to face Trigger, leaning confidently against the wall. Was he breaking? Showing little cracks? Oh, she hoped so. That meant she was winning. But winning what? Was the glory of winning an argument worth it? She quickly briefed herself over the situation and hung her head momentarily when she realised what she had done. She'd just ended it. It was her fault.
What else do you want to shout at my face about? We're too far now. We can't mend this! she yelled, her voice cracking a little when it got too loud. She had never had a good screaming/ shouting voice. She then turned and stormed further down the damp, manky corridor, yelling Leave me alone! Just go!.

Trigger looked at the confidence in her stance. She hated him. He could almost feel it. This beautiful, amazing girl hated him because he wouldn't back down on a trivial matter. He could have waited. He shouldn't have pushed her. He loved her. Truely loved her. He'd never loved anyone before now, but he knew that he loved Evie. She was his world, his best friend and the love of his life. He looked at her and his heart lept when she hung her head, maybe she's take him back?
Trigger balled his hands into fists and growled in frustration when she shouted at him. His heart was breaking, well and truely breaking but the anger was the dominent emotion. "You can always mend it. You just don't want us to." he shouted back, he could feel the tears pricking the back of his eyes but he wouldn't let himself cry. "You're destroying us! This is our first fight. All couples have fights. We need to work through it." he bellowed as she walked away. He ran after her soon after and grabbed her shoulder. He regretted it almost instantly because he knew this gave her a reason to shout at him more. "I'm not leaving." he snarled. he blinked heavily and then added, "I still love you."

Evelyn's heart leapt at Trigger's words, all loaded with venom and malice. She ran on, pretending not to have heard. She wished for him to catch up with her and say he was sorry. They would exchange apologies, he'd kiss her, she'd kiss back, and they'd walk hand and hand back in the dorm.
Well, a part of her wish was fulfilled. Trigger did catch up with her. She immediately responded by turning around and putting on her rarely used angrier than normal face. Please. Don't touch me, she said, her voice lowered. Several fellow hostel residents had appeared from behind their doors to see what the loud noise from B1 travelling down the hall was. Evelyn gave them a look that she was sure would send shivers down their spine and make them feel deigned to close their doors. Still, they watched intently.
It was a few seconds before she replied to Trigger's confession of love. She wanted to be difficult. She wanted to make him hurt. I hat-ugh, I love you too - still, she admitted finally.

Trigger was very aware that the other hostelers were watching them. He turned to look at them. "Get lost." he shouted at them. She didn't want him to touch her, not even a simple gesture like touching her shoulder was permitted now. He couldn't believe this. He'd lost all of her trust and it hurt, God it hurt so badly. He bit his bottom lip to stop it from trembling. Then he pulled himself together. He removed his hands from her shoulder. "Fine." he said, resigning to her request.
Trigg looked at her as she paused after he told her he loved her. The pause was only a few seconds long but to him it felt like hours. She had his heart in her hand right now and it was up to her whether or not she was going to crush it in her hand and stamp on it and cut it into little pieces - and generally just reduce it to dust. She half-crushed him. His heart felt crushed as she went to say that she hated him but then it swoll up when she said that she still loved him. "Can we work through this then?" he asked her, moving so close to her that he could kiss her if she said they could work it out.

Evelyn felt guilty. Extremely guilty. Why did it have to be so hard? Why did she have to feel bad? From her opinion, she didn't think she was in the wrong. Actually, she was. They both were. Him for the persistant pestering, her for the slap. Oh, how one rash decision can change things. She smiled weakly at him telling the onlookers to get lost. How charming of him. The place where his hand had been on her shoulder suddenly felt cold without his touch. She immediately regretted asking him not to touch her. She wanted him to touch her now. She wanted him to tell her it would be okay. That they'd work something out. She took his hands, desperate for the warmth that kept within them. She looked up at him, trying to detect if he was serious or not. Of course we can, she said simply but not too loudly. She didn't want any other people to hear.

Trigger couldn't help but smile as she took his hands, this was looking good. Maybe she wasn't going to break his heart but he was wary, maybe she was misleading him to make it hurt more. He clasped her hands lightly, so delicately and lovingly; because he feared it may be for the last time. He wanted so much to bend his head down to her and to kiss her. Afterall, that might be what would make it all better.
Four words made his heart leave. 'Of course we can'. He grinned wider than he'd ever grinned before. They were going to work it out! His heart was soaring. He took one of his hands from her and used it to push the hair out of her face and bending his mouth to hers. Kissing her softly, gently, lovingly. The as softly as he had that day in the park, he got the same butterflies he'd gotten then and it made him smile. "Oh thank God," he breathed onto her lips, "I don't think I could survive without you."

Evelyn leaned in to kiss Trigger, but found that he had beaten her to it and, in a moment, their lips met. It was soft, but meaningful. Evelyn wondered who was in the wrong in this situation - and if they would be contrite.
She squeezed Trigger's hands tightly and grinned affectionately at him, light, paper-thin butterflies fluttering about in her stomach. Drama queen, she grinned, her light breath warming his lips. Her hand still in his, she led him back to his dorm which, surprisingly, was still empty. Evelyn wondered if Trigger had any roommates.
She sat on his bed again, and motioned him beside her, before getting up to close the door (gaping eyes were most annoying). She then returned and wrapped her arms around Trigger, looking into his eyes. Her eyes sparkled and it was as if they were speaking without words. She kissed him again, deeper than the one before, and her hand travelled up and down his arm.

Trigger was so happy, they'd resolved it. They were EvieAndTrigger again, not EvieAndTriggerHavingABigFight. And he was thankful for that; very very thankful. Evie made him feel complete, and happy, and special, and loving. He didn't want to upset her anymore. He felt bad that he had in the first place; but guilt wasn't going to take it back. She'd forgive but she wouldn't forget. A part of him knew she could hold this against him for the entirity of their relationship. Trigger laughed slightly as she teased him, she was easing off the tension. And that was good, he didn't want tension anymore. "Drama makes the world turn around." he informed her, with a grin that matched hers.
Trigger felt so happy as she led him by the hand down the hall and back to his dorm, he ignored the disappointed sighs of the people who'd been watching and told himself not to hurt any of them later. She was sitting on his bed again, they were right back to where this all started. He was almost going to just stand there and look awkward because he didn't want to screw everything up again. But then Evie beckoned him over, he sat down next to her and enjoyed the feeling of her arms around him. He wasn't sure what it was about Evie that made him so happy but he knew that he loved her for it. He was trying to think of something romantic to say when she kissed him. It was an incredible kiss, passionate and deep. Better than any kiss he'd ever had with her before. Her hand was caressing his arm. His mind began to go into overtime thinking about whether she was coming onto him or not. But after the fight they'd just had, Trigg was pretty sure it wasn't.

Evelyn stopped caressing Trigger's arm and glanced absent-mindedly at her watch. She tried to convince herself it wasn't because she was bored. But it was always like this. Kissing. And more kissing.
Evelyn forbade those thoughts from her mind and chose to lose herself in Trigger's eyes once again. But she couldn't. After the fight they had had, he seemed different. She didn't know how but there definitely was something.
OOC; ACK SHORT.

Trigger felt his heart sink when he noticed Evie glancing at her watch; this was a blow he had not been expecting - she was fed up with him. He couldn't help but bite his lip very lightly, as soong as he noticed her looking at him he stopped; she couldn't know that he knew. The air around their relationship had changed. The whole atmosphere of them being together had changed and now he didn't feel the overwhelming passion he had only hours before.
Something had changed and it scared him. Trigg couldn't let himself think about it too much because it was making him upset. And IMMENSELY insecure. He leant forward and kissed her very softly. His heart was pounding. This was all very, very different.

Evelyn lent back and pushed the orphaned strands of hair at her front to the back. She was uncomfortable. She wanted to leave. Not him, but his dorm. At least she thought that she didn't want to leave him. But the fight had left a scar on their relationship that she was positive wouldn't go away. And this troubled her. She couldn't concentrate at all.
Evie pulled away from Trigger's kiss and felt like she was melting when she saw his solemn face. She felt..she felt like she was kicking a puppy in the face with a metal boot. Or something like that. But her feeling of being uncomfortable swallowed her feelings for Trigger whole.
She took his hands and looked into his eyes with a hypnotic stare she knew he couldn't help but look at. I'm sorry but, she started her sentence but choked on her next words - she knew that she was going to regret them. I've gotta go. She still held Trigger's hands to see his reaction before she was would get up from his bed and leave to her own.
