The common room was empty for a change. Then again, it was quite early in the morning and most people would still be asleep. However, Jason had a bad night, getting only roughly an hour or so sleep. He hadn’t slept particularly well since he had left home, as when his mind became idle, he would think of his family, of his father and mother, both of whom he never new. It caused him much distress, yet he soldiered on. He plonked himself down on a two-seater in front of the television, and switched it on. There wasn’t much on television at this time of the day, just children’s programmes and the news. He left it on the news. This was the first time he had seen it seen he had run away, and to his surprise even more stories of children vanishing were being broadcast. This comforted him to a degree.
Before he had come down, he had showered and grabbed a bite to eat, so he didn’t look rough from a bad nights sleep, but he did look fairly tired. He had a pair of black three quarters on, accompanied by a plain black t-shirt. His hair was done as usual, and he just sat back in the chair, drifting in and out of sleep.
((Sorry, I absolutely suck at opening a roleplay))

(( I thought it was a fantastic post. At least you have muse *steals* )) T I L L Y || S M I T H Life is like a coin........ You can spend it anyway you like - but you can only spend it once Tilly quietly walked down the hallway from her dorm into the common room , her skin still slightly damp from her early morning shower , her hair cascading in blond kinks down her back. Her luminous aquamarine eyes were bright and awake , despite the surreal zombie like drag of her body. The common room was mildly warm , despite the slight overhanging gloom which darted between the buzzing fluorescent lights. Under the lighting , she looked strangely inhuman - her light olive skin and chiseled features , and the slight aroma of her vanilla scented shampoo making her seemingly supernatural. She sniffed the air , wrinkling her nose at the brisk yet light scent of after shave. She smiled warmly as she saw her friend , Jason , sitting on a couch. By the looks of him , he was half asleep , and she silently debated whether to wake him or not. She questioned why he was even up this early - the only reason she was up was because the idle heat and dull whirl of the air con was driving her insane. And , not to mention , sleeping on her bed was like sleeping on a block of stone. And it wasn't like she always lived in comfort. Back in London , when Dad forgot the pay the rent , Tilly and her mother would have to sleep on thin mattresses near the floor. Tilly shook her head to wake herself up from her daydream - those times where in the past , where they should remain. She bit her lip - to wake or not to wake? He looked so....at peace when he was sleeping. His face was so relaxed , so serene , no signs of rebellion of defiance in his brow or jaw. It kind of frightened her to see the absence of emotion on his face - but she brushed it aside. She tip toed up to the couch , and the suddenly gave Jason a bear hug , sitting next to him and wrapping her arms delicately but strongly around his chest. ' 'Ello Jason ' she whisper softly , a slight cheeky smile ensnared on her lips , her eyes wide , their exotic black lashes emphasizing their happiness and warmth.

((Hey, I need that!))
By the time Tilly had entered the common room, Jason was now completely asleep. For some reason, he slept better when the television was on. He wasn’t sure why, perhaps it was because it kept his mind ticking over until he dropped off, or because whatever he watches bored him to sleep. Either way, it worked. And he was now enjoying possibly the longest sleeping session he had experienced since arriving at the hostel. But it wasn’t going to last.
Jason could hear the faint tip toeing of Tilly as she drew ever closer, and he could also begin to pick up on the smell of her shampoo, yet neither of these were noticeable enough to wake him up, such was the severity of his sleep depravation. However, the sudden shock of being bear hugged certainly woke him up, his head shot back and his eyes flashed open. He had no idea what the hell had just happened, and it took him a few moments to realise where he was, and who it was that had awoken him. He could do nothing but smile.
“Good morning Tilly,” he replied, his voice completely drained of any expression. He sat up in his chair, and had a good old stretch, before wrapping his arms around Tilly, returning the hug. He studied the girls face for a few moments, noticing that she had a somewhat cheeky grin, and her eyes were wide open, not showing any signs of tiredness, the complete opposite to what Jason felt. “You know, you always amaze me how bubbly you are, even at this time of day, you really are amazing.” He smiled again, whilst barely managing to keep his eyes open. He gave them a good hard rubbing, making them slightly red. It seemed to do the trick though. “What are you doing up at this time, anyway?” he asked.

(( You don't need it as much as I do =.= )) T I L L Y || S M I T H Life is like a coin........ You can spend it anyway you like - but you can only spend it once “Good morning Tilly Tilly , giving a musical laugh from the utter exhaustion in Jason's voice , released him from the bear hug , moving her legs from the floor so she was sitting cross legged next to him. “You know, you always amaze me how bubbly you are, even at this time of day, you really are amazing.” he said , Tilly tilting her head sideways and smiling warmly at him. She winked , her smile turning into a smirk ' Of course I'm amazing. You , Mr ' Sleepyhead ' , need to get more sleep at night. You look like a hungover ... panda' she said , motioning to the bags under his eyes. She laughed again , rapping him in another hug. She watched with a tint of curiosty in her aquamarine eyes as he rubbed at his eyes , making them red and puffy. “What are you doing up at this time, anyway?” he asked , his voice still lacking emotion. She sighed , pausing and shrugging her shoulders before she spoke. ' Its hell in there. Its too hot , the ceiling fans whinning. I need to escap....' she paused , breifly averting her gaze to the television. 'Im on TV' she said , a slight hint of disbelief in her voice. Up with the many other pictures of missing teens , there was a picture of Tilly , giving a white toothy grin , her light olive skin toned up with bronzer. Over the last week she'd been here , she still hadn't really got used to the concept she was missing. She rested her head gently on Jason's chest , her arms still sheepishly rapped around him. ' Do you miss anyone Jason?' she asked quietly , her voice suddenly solemn and cold. It was as if she'd undergone a transformation - from bright , bubbly Tilly , the supernatural Tilly , to this - this shaded , grey inanimate object. She lifted her gaze to his , their faces five centimetres apart. Her aquamarine eyes searched his , her amber hair , almost dry slightering across his chest. She waited for his answer , biting her lip as if trying to hold back tears.

Jason raised an eyebrow as he was compared to a hung-over panda, he wasn’t sure what a hung-over panda looked like, or how Tilly knew what one looked liked. It didn’t dawn on him that perhaps it was just Tilly’s way with words; such was the nature of his over analytical mind. However, he managed a smile, and responded to her.
“Yeah I know… I just can’t. I think too much, that is my problem. I can only sleep with the television on, perhaps I should ask if I can get one for my room, although I don’t think my room-mates would appreciate that,” he said with a chuckle. “I don’t seem to notice the fans that much, but then again my mind is occupied, so I guess I wouldn’t. Perhaps we had better let you sleep outside then.” Jason chuckled; he liked to camp out in a tent and sleeping bag. In fact, had he been more confident he would have signed up for the army. He had also contemplated buying a tent, so he could camp out at the weekends, but he would need to get some more money first.
He quickly turned to the television as Tilly spotted herself in the group of pictures. Jason wasn’t there; no one cared enough to inform the media about his absence. As she placed her head on his chest, he placed his arm around her. He thought to himself quietly as Tilly posed him a question. His face became glum, and he noticed that Tilly has also changed persona, and it looked as if she was going to cry. Their eyes locked, her aquamarine eyes staring into his brown eyes. She would see a degree of sadness, and also a sense of confusion. She looked as if she were about to cry.
“Only the people I never knew,” Jason responded in a very empty tone. “My mother and father, that is,” so that Tilly would understand what he meant. “What about you?”

T I L L Y || S M I T H Life is like a coin........ You can spend it anyway you like - but you can only spend it once “What about you?" ' I left.....everyone. Mum , my little sister Angie. I can't believe I left Josh. I was so selfish.....' she whispered , her teeth clenching together , creating a predatory look on her pale skin. In the lighting of the room , she looked out of place , shimmering into nothingness. She gave Jason a small smile , though no warmth showed in her eyes. Those aquamarine eyes where so cold , so desolate that none of the bright electric lighting could merit their pitch , their abyss. ' I left them like they were nothing'' she said , her voice so low that her cherry red lips barely moved. The silence thudded in her ears , like a set of drums constantly banging until the pressure grew unstable. ' I need some air ' she said , her voice slightly croaking. She walked out of the room quietly but with a certain agility. Once she was round the corner , she slipped down onto the ground , sobbing , head meeting with knees. She whole body shuddered as if some raging beast puppeteered it , the heat of her tears silently dripping onto her bleached jeans. She felt so cold , so empty. She thought it was homesickness , but it was more. All the hate from her childhood , all the times she was left by herself were back to haunt her. She was so frustrated , so empty that she couldn't simply FEEL ENOUGH for it to hurt. She didn't want people to see her like this - especially Jason. But she couldn't bring herself to move - her leg and arms felt heavy and weighted - like useless scraps of metal the lay , close to the floor. Her sobbing grew silent , but her whole body still shook wildly with each breath in and each breath out. She hated her life. She hated that she was so selfish. Was this bubbly personality she thought she was just another mask , to hide in? Just another act , for another play? If so , when was she going to be able to show her true self? To not care if someone destroyed her because of what she truly was - to not give a damn that her heart could be shattered. All the happiness and joy she had shown recently felt so fake , so hollow. (( I'm really sorry for this UTTERLY DRAMATIC episode. I'm quitting this site , so I have to get a build up of events to her leaving / committing suicide. If she's going out , she's going to go out with a BANG! =P ))
