Elyse twirled into the large room, her clicking footsteps echoing off the high ceiling. She had spotted the large piano in the corner the day she arrived and had been itching to get playing it. She stepped quietly over to it and sat in the old, worn leather seat before flexing her fingers in an overly professional manner and setting her pale, cold fingers on the ivory keys.
She belted out a tune that had waited in the back of her mind for days, like water gathering on a canopy rooftop after a rainy spell, and getting it all out felt amazing. she closed her eyes and let her subconscious do the thinking as her hands danced over the littleteeth of the instrument.

Axel was slowly walking down the stairs, he was knew here and was trying to find his way around and meet new people. His dark brown hair was hanging over his face as he carefully watched his black all stars making sure he didn't trip over his dangerously long worn jeans. Axel placed his right hand on the cold banister and used his left hand to brush his hair away from is face as he looked up.
Axel glanced at his black and silver watch and it read 3:20. He sighed, today seemed to be going really slowly, Axel sat down on the step he had been standng on and looked around. The staircase was dull, the walls were painted grey and the steps had been tainted dark grey due to use overtime and the little hygeine there was in this place. Seconds passed and Axel started playing with his shoelaces, he was bored out of his head. Suddenly Axel jumped as he heard loud music coming from the hall. Axel stood up and listened carefully, it sounded like a piano and whoever was playing it was exceptionally good. He had never heard that tune before and as curious as he was, Axel made his way down the stairs and stood at the entrance of the hall.
Axel looked around and saw a very pretty girl playing the piano, she was extremely gifted and seemed nice. Axel smiled as he listened, and then entered the hall. Axels converse hit the floor with a soft thud and was echoed over the room, he wasn't sure if he was disturbing the girl playing, but he continued walking. 'Your really good."he smiled when he was half-way over to the piano. 'Did you make it up yourself?'

Hearing the dulcet tones of a masculine voice over her music, Elyse smashed a high, out of tune noise, before slowly opening her eyes, her head tilted slightly upwards and looking down her nose at the person. He was standing quite far down the hall and smiling a little. She broke into a polite, but not necessarily genuine grin herself and taking her foot of the pedal at the bottom of the instrument. "Yes, Actually." she mumbled, not really knowing if anything else needed to be said. She looked at him for the first time with real inspecting eyes. He was beautiful, not that the kind of person Elyse found beautiful was everyones cup of tea, but still."Thankyou." she blushed and she beckoned him over to sit at the piano beside her.

Axel smiled and made his way over to the piano and sat down beside the girl. Being able to actually see the girl up close, he noticed how exceptionally pretty she was, for a slight second he wodered how she got into a place like this. He smiled and ersed the thought from his mind, it wasn't his place to ask such a thing. 'I'm Axel'he said cheerfully and stuck out his hand for her to shake.
