Tyler was tired. She was up for a while last night, for no reason at all, just staring at the yellow ceiling in her bedroom. Kicking the wooden door open, she drifted into the warm room. The heat wrapped softly around her as she slunked onto the sofa. Her belt making a scratching noise on the mis-matching cushions. Tyler smiled as she saw a Super Mario game on the floor. Pushing it into the Nintendo, she turned on the tv, and the gray box infront of her. She sat down, inches from the set with her legs crossed. Her long blue skinny t shirt ruffled and her legs crossed, her black jeans gaining fluff from the carpet.
Tylers dark eyes focussed on the tv screen as her little red Mario was killing Bowser. Dieeeeee! She was shouting at the screen, now sucked into her video world. Words spilled from her mouth as she decended onto the next few levels. Tyler was oblivious to the world.

Evelyn's eyes darted from left to right as she browsed through the pages of her battered copy of Through The Looking Glass. She had no certain point of which to start of, nor did she intend to read a chapter, she had just opened the book at a random page to see what interested her. Today she pink ankle socks, purely for relaxation, a vintage Motley Crue XXL shirt and her favourite black miniskirt. Her bleached white streaks in her hair hung among the bright pink in pigtails.
Evelyn had always thought of herself as noticeable, but today her appearance seemed to be quite slinky as a girl she did not know but knew of burst into the room. She watched the black-haired girl for a while, quietly (well, not very quietly at all) absorbed in her video game. Ah, vintage Nintendo. Kitschy.
Evelyn walked over to where the girl was sitting, a friendly 'hi I don't know you' smile on her face. Hello, you seem to be quite absorbed in your Nintendo, hope you don't mind that I dandered over here to distract you for a minute to introduce myself. I'm Evelyn, she said with mock formality.
OOC; WOW, I do have muse!

Tyler's eyes did not stray from the tv as she heard a soft voice, coming from behind her. Hi She replied, not letting herself get distracted. Jump, hit, fire fire, yes, NO Damn She scoffed, her Mario had gotten thrown into a lava pool at her last life. She switched off the black tv, and throwing the grey control underneath it. She swung round to look up at Evelyn. Her black hair flung around with her, she tucked it behind her ear. She smiled sweetly and the cute girl, she admired her pink hair, tumbeld by her pale face. Tyler stood up from off the floor and went to sit on the sofa. I'm Tyler, by the way She continued, brushing the rest of her dark hair from her dark eyes.

Just as Evelyn thought the girl would never turn from the Nintendo to look at her face - which would be the etiquette thing to do, thought Evelyn - the girl suddenly lost her kitsch-filled game and turned to look at the pink-haired girl, who was pleasantly surprised. Tyler? she said. Cute name, she complimented the girl. It wouldn't even have mattered if it was a horrible name, Evelyn would have still complimented it to get the conversation started.
So, began Evelyn, I believe you're my roommate. Weird. I haven't seen you around here before. She followed Tyler over to her sofa, totally obivilous to whether Tyler particularly wanted to strike up a conversation.

Tyler smiled, Thanks.. boys name. I like it too She drifted off a reply. Tyler was still unsure of the people here at the hostal, she was still unsure of herself. Her fingers wrapped around eachother as she began to fidget and play with her hair. Room mates, huh She replied. She wasn't the type of person to start a conversation because she never really knew what to say to someone she had just met for the first time. She was good at listening. Yeah.. I kinda wander about here by myself..playing games. Haven't been here long.. Biting her lip, she remembered the night she left, trying to push it out of her mind. No one was going to know about it, but everyone knew they where each here for some dark reason. Tyler put her new friend at about the same age as her, maybe a bit older. Evelyn was cute and her good looks definatly put her ahead of most people. Tyler, realising she was staring right in her face, lowered her glance to her petit frame. Tyler was scruffy compared to Evelyn, jeans and an old t shirt, but Evelyns style seemed perfect, beyond imagination and far beyong Tylers clothing boundries. She felt she couldn't wear things like skirts, self conscience of who was looking and judging, but she didn't think anyone could judge Evelyn.

Evelyn put a hand on her hip, thinking rapidly for a start to new conversation. I've been here for about 6 months now, Evelyn said matter-of-factly, although Tyler had not asked such a question as how long she had been at Carnew Youth Hostel. The pink-haired girl hummed a tune around her breath to the tune of Metro by The Vincent Back Shadow. Evelyn always liked to sing but her shyness overcame her desire and she only sang when she knew and had confirmed that she was alone.
OOC; short like me :]

Tyler started to twirl her hair around her finger, studying Evelyns pale, but stunning face. Her dark eyes shone and her red lips perked her look. She could hear Evelyn humming a tune, but she couldn't pin a name on it. Trying to think, she looked as if she was in a daze and then realised the girl had said something and to leave off the conversation at such a short time, would be either rude or just annoying. She wasn't sure how to word her responce though. Sorry if the room is like, a total mess, I haven't properly unpacked yet and I seem to fling things and where they land, they stay. But sure, just kick my stuff over my direction Tyler tried to force some humour into the sentence, she was sometimes funny and made jokes to herself in her head, but others usually didn't laugh.
[OOC; OMG. my quick reply box. ITS REAPPEARED! YAY]
