Evelyn rushed up the stairs and through the carpeted halls, apologizing to everyone she bumped into. Sorry! I'm very late! she explained, sounding like a certain white rabbit with a pocket watch. She was already 5 minutes late for her first maths class of the year. This was not the way to get on a teacher's good side. And, as she reached the chipped, navy painted door, her marks wouldn't get her into good books either.
Evelyn crept into the room, forgetting to knock. She was greeted by a glasses-wearing redhead woman's dangerous glare. The teacher's thin lips spewed out a sarcastic remark - something along the lines of Ah, so you've decided to join us, have you? - and told her to take a seat. Evelyn obeyed and nodded, thinking that a snide comment wouldn't help her situation at all right now.
Evelyn hated maths; always had. The teacher's chalk scrawled out 'algebra' on the board and immediately Evelyn let out a soft groan. She looked around the classroom for something or someone to entertain her.

Jade perked up as she saw Evelyn rush in. She knew the girl from the dorms, and though they had never really talked or anything. Living that close to someone affords you some form of familiarity. She didn't know what made her do it, maybe she was just tired of being so isolated, or maybe she sensed someone who might be as bored as her, but she wrote "Hi" on a tiny little paper and crumbled it up, and flung it at the girl. It landed on her desk, and Jade was relieved, for a horrible moment she saw it in her minds eye hitting the girl in the head.

Evelyn picked up her pink Hello Kitty pencil and then set it down again. Picked it up. Set it down. Picked it up. Set it down. She then turned to whistling softly under her breath what she thought sounded like the intro to Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue. She tapped her fingers on the desk, quietly enough as to not provoke the teacher but loudly enough to occupy herself.
Evelyn emitted a small high-pitched squeak, gaining a death stare from the teacher, which she just shook off with a What? Me? smile when a small file paper note landed swiftly on her desk. She glanced around in order to spot the sender. She figured that the small brunette looking at her must be the one who threw the note. She then wondered if it was for her. To hell with it. She scribbled a Hi, I'm Evelyn. If you, like, didn't already know.. with her blue ballpoint pen. And, with a smile on her face, she threw the note as discreetly as she could behind the teacher's back.

((OOC: Sorry about the lateness, the family unit is having a glitch *rolls eyes*))
Jade reached out and caught the note. She grinned. She looked down at the note and jotted out "So are you completely bored in this class too?" She waited till the teachers back was turned and tossed it back Evelyn.
She looked back down at her wrok and began to doodle a small it middle finger on her desk, around the other accient graffitti that countless others had scrawled on the desk. She sighed a bit and ran her hands through her short black and crimson hair.

Evelyn kept her wandering eyes on her mathmatics squared paper, every-so-often looking up to see the progress of the note. The girl cleverly threw the small, crumbled piece of paper onto her desk almost expertly after the teacher's back was turned. Evelyn sucked her bottom lip as she thought of something intelligent to say and concentrated on looking busy to the teacher's satisfaction.
Of course. It's algebra. What sane person would enjoy several letters scribbled on a board? I'd rather be sinking into lava this second. Maths bores me to DEATH. Evelyn threw the piece of paper, narrowly missing a boy's head in the way.
OOC; tis okay ^^

For the first time in a long time Jade stiffled a giggle, and offered the boy a 'less than sorry' smirk. She looked up to see what the teacher was doing, and chewed absent mindedly on the tips of her pin. When the old bat's back was turned, she bent her head to the note.
"So," She jotted down quickly, splitting her concentration between the note and the teacher,"Do you have another class after this, cause I could really go for a coke right about now. Namely so I don't start snoring, stupid algebra!"
She looked up again, pretentding to be cecentrating on the lecture and once the teacher's back was turned, she yet again tossed back to Evelyn.

Evelyn sucked her bottom lip absentmindedly, whilst twirling a strand of wispy white around her finger, jumping slightly when the infamous note. Most of the class seemed to be watching both Jade's and Evelyn's reactions to each note, interested.
Evelyn lifted up her ballpoint and wrote Nah, no classes. Free period! WOO! I really need some caffiene too. Is this a date? in a jokey fashion, twirling the pen along the page in order to shape the letters of the English language.
Evelyn tossed the note. Obviously she wasn't very good at the discreet throwing because it ended up behind Jade's seat. But at least the teacher hadn't seen.

Jade bit her lip from laughing as the note sailed past her, pretend to drop her pencil she scrambled for the note and her pencil. She scooted back into her desk, before the teacher noticed. She smirked a little at the 'date' comment.
Thinking for a moment, and avoiding the teacher's gaze, she quickly jotted down teasingly, " Fine it's a date, don't expect any flowers, and I better get at least a steamy make out session after this! Do you wanna go ahead and skip out of this class or be good and wait till the bell rings?" She added a little smiley face to it. And pitched it back to Evelyn.

Evelyn caught the note in two fingers. Hey, she was getting pretty good at this. Reading the note, she made several mock kissy faces at Jade before grinning widely and turning to writing a reply. Let's ski..Evelyn paused as she heard the recurring, clanging noise of the bell that, for some reason, gave her immense goosebumps. The pursed lipped teacher stood up, signalling her pupils to stand before her and chant 'good afternoon Miss Clarke' in unison. Evelyn shrugged her shoulders at Miss Clarke and skipped over to Jade's desk as her fellow pupils left for their relaxing free periods. Ready to go? she asked Jade. OOC; new post soon?

{OOC:Yar}
Jade looked at Evelyn and nodded.
She yawned and stretched,"I did think we were ever gonna get out of here."
She grinned and picked up her backpack. She was a little nervous, she hadn't really talked to many people since she had come to the hostel.
"So I'm thinking a coke fallowed by some place entertaining," She said hoisting the backpack over her shoulders. She remembered for a moment the old train tracks on the edge of her old town.
'Billy,' Her face clouded faintly.
She shook it off, and then turned a faint wry grin on Evelyn arching her eyebrows, "Let's go before they think we want to stay!"
