Under the platform

Harper hadn't been here long, hadn't met anyone yet, but had managed to find this place not long after she first got here. It was a very inviting place to sit, hang out, talk and when you felt like being alone it was the perfect place to think. Harper was taking full advantage of the peace to sit and ponder about the odds and ends of life.

A small reddish brown pebble caught her eye. She bent down and picked it up. She looked over it and looked at it in a sad way. It reminded her of collecting rocks with her father. He always used to bring her a different looking rock from his weekend business trips. That was, until he died. She began to tear and stuffed it in her pocket for now. Not really wanting to let go yet.

As she tucked it away in her pocket as a chilling breeze danced around her. She shivered and pulled the sleeves of her jacket down over her hands. She blew into the stretched fabric that covered her hands to make it warm. She then jammed her hands into her pocket and made her way under the platform.

Once under the platform she picked out a semi-flat looking rock. She made sure it was steady and rested herself upon the rock's smooth surface. She looked out at the water, or what she could see of it. Her gaze shifted upwards and she began to let her eyes soak in the looks of the platform's underside. She liked the look it had. Her eyes then danced to in front of her again. Her orangish hair was dancing in the breeze. She reached a hand back and collected the wild, untamed mess and pulled it into a semi organized pony tail. She then rested her hands on her knees and sighed as her short choppy bangs blew free of their restraints in the gentle breeze.

A sigh floated from her mouth and she studied the area. She pulled out the rock and began to run her fingers over it's surface. Her eyes teared and she put the rock away and blinked the tears away. I'm done crying. She thought about it for a minute and decided it was time to let go.She retrieved the pebble and hurled it into the churning water. She then rested her head on her knees and looked out over the water, wondering, and thinking.

[Axel Livingston]

Axel had been walking around the town for the past 20 minutes, he was new and was trying to find his way around the town. As he walked he thought deeply of how his life has became hell for him, after all, who would ever forgive him for what had happened? Who would ever learn to love someone like him? Axel sighed and looked up from the stone he had been kicking whilst he walked and his blue eyes scanned his surroundings.

Somehow he had made it to the fishing platform, Axel had no idea how he got here as he had been paying no attention to where he was going. The fishing platform was empty and a chilling breeze swept over him. Axel brushed his dark brown hair away from his face and began to make his way along the platform, his black and white checked Vans made a soft thud as they hit the hard,wooden platform.

Axel thought he was pretty much alone so he picked a dpot on the platform at the edge and sat down. Axel couldn't really see what was under the platform but he assumed no one was there. Axel swung his legs back and forth as he looked out into the water. Seconds passed and Axel stopped swinging his legs and listened, he thought that he had heard something but forgot about it whenever he didn't hear it again. Moments later, Axel jumped as he saw a pebble landing in the water, it had been came from under the platform and pebbles don't usually throw them selves, so he knew that someone must be underneath the platform.

Axel pulled his legs up of the edge of the platform and lay down on his chest. He then pushed himself forward so that his head was hanging over the edge and he could see under the platform. His hair was hanging all over his face and his blood was rushing to his brain, Axel knew he must of looked extremely odd, but he wanted to see who was under the platorm. His blue eyes fell upon a girl sitting upon a rock, he watched her for a second to make sure that she wasn't with someone or was waiting on someone as he wouldn't of liked to intrude on them. 'Hey, mind if I came down?' Axel asked sweetly, he didn't want to creep the girl out or anything, he just wanted to meet her as she seemed really nice.

Harper heard someone walking on the platform. She didn't move or say anything. She just listened and watched as two legs appeared. She stifled a giggle. I mean it wasn't like you always saw feet pop out of no where. She studied the legs for a minute and watched as they disappeared.

She held her breath and looked around for the feet or anything. She almost fell of the rock she was sitting on. She smiled at the guy and laughed. You scared me! Sure... Come on down. I'm Harper. She said sweetly with a smile. She scooted over to give him some room on the rock.

She wondered why she hadn't see this guy before. She shrugged and waited for him to sit down. He seemed very nice and she needed a friend and he wasn't bad looking either. She smiled in her mind and stifled a giggle. She then tucked her thoughts away for later and waited on him to sit down.

[Axel Livingston]

Axel smiled, got up and made his way under the fishing platform. He spotted the girl not far from him and jogged over to her and smiled. 'I'm sorry it took so long, my spidey powers aren't working' Axel shrugged and sat down on the rock beside her, being up close to her he noticed how pretty she was. Axel held out his left hand and smiled, 'I'm Axel'

Harper smiled and watched him jog up to her. Everybody's messes up sometimes. She smiled at him and took his hand and shook it. She looked in his eyes and noticed how blue and pretty they were. You have really pretty eyes..
